A dedicated and passionate home-practitioner since 1999, my own Yoga practice informs my curiosity and walks hand-in-hand with my teaching.
It is my hope that my classes inspire my students to cultivate their own personal practice, creativity, and growth!

I am honored to have received my 500-hour teaching certification from Seattle Yoga Arts.
In addition to my ongoing (and lifelong!) Yoga studies, I’ve completed my:
- 30-hour Restorative Yoga training (Judith Hanson Lasater)
- 30-hour Certifications in "Accessible Yoga" (Jivana Heyman) and "Yoga For Healthy Aging” (Baxter Bell/ Melina Meza)
- SAIL Fitness Certification (Staying Active and Independent for Life)

My life’s passions include not only Yoga, but also motherhood, partnership, and all things nature, art, music, film, and theatre. A native Midwesterner, I have a degree in Vocal Music and Theatre (Acting) from Beloit College—and I found regional success as a voice-over artist and commercial actor. You might remember me (most notably) as “Babs” the caterpillar in the Money Tree commercials! I also sing in a pretty rad 1980's cover band here in Seattle called "The Scrunchies".
